Il reste \u00e0 ce sujet des traces d\u2019une butte et d\u2019une plateforme fossoy\u00e9e. Mais le site \u00e9tait occup\u00e9 d\u00e8s l\u2019antiquit\u00e9. En effet, une villa gallo-romaine avec trois petits b\u00e2timents en pierre et un enclos, dont les dimensions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9es \u00e0 220 m\u00e8tres sur 90, a \u00e9t\u00e9 rep\u00e9r\u00e9e par prospection a\u00e9rienne en 1979-80. Les labours font ressurgir dans le champ le long du bois de nombreux fragments de&nbsp;<em>tegulae<\/em>, les tuiles romaines.
